“Littles” Lead by Example through the Children Helping Children Initiative

As a way to generate additional funds needed to involve more children in impactful mentoring relationships we have partnered with a local printer to be able to create & distribute mentoring inspired greeting cards.
You can see from the photographs included that these artistic greeting cards have been reproduced from one-of- a-kind acrylic paintings created by Little Brothers and Little Sisters in our program.  They know how important having a Big Brother or Big Sister has been to them and they have done their part to help raise funds to get more children off the waiting list to be paired with caring mentors.

The greeting cards are bundled in packages of nine. The image of the artwork is on the front, the inside is blank and the back indicates the first name and age of the child who created the artwork as well as the artwork’s title. Each package includes one card of each design. Card packages are being sold for $10.00 per pack or two packs for $15.00. These artistic greeting cards can be used as a holiday card, to give as a gift, to send as a thank you or simply as a note to let someone know that you are thinking of them.

Each of the children who created artwork has donated their piece back to BBBS in hopes of raising additional funds. These original works of art are also for sale. Little Brothers and Little Sisters in our program will certainly feel a sense of pride when they see that their artwork was selected and sold. We have over 50 nicely framed pieces to choose from with the majority of them priced at only $25.00. We are hopeful to find a home for all of our creations.

We appreciate your support as we work together to find ways to financially support the mission we believe so deeply in. Stop in or call our office at (920) 739.3542!
